Designed to challenge, recognise and reward the talent and passion of industry and academic researchers, the PharmaTimes International Clinical Researcher of the Year is a rigorous, real world competition that attracts entrants from all over the globe.
Comprising three-stages, the competition offers a unique opportunity for professionals working within the research fraternity to benchmark their skills against their peers in a learning environment, and have them judged by an independent steering group of high-level industry leaders.

Launched in 1999 as the only competition of its kind for Clinical Researchers, it continues to be an opportunity to recognise clinical excellence in our industry today.

My team came up with this year's branding and it was put across everything on this project - the digital adverts, print adverts in the monthly PharmaTimes magazine. Awards materials ranging from judges day name cards, pop up banners, certificates etc.

This was my first year taking this project on, and so it was a learning curve understanding the competition and all the design elements that went with it. This competition run alongside The America's as well which was a month before this one. Next year for 2019 the branding image will change, but the elements will be the same depending on the venue and various sponsorship opportunities. This year we showcased our new digital table plan, so that too will also have some development throughout the year before the next awards ceremony.
